This peaceful landscape was inspired by the vast openness of the south plains of Texas. Through many country drives during quarantine of 2020, I was reminded of how open our world is during a time when it felt very closed. We must never lose sight of the great beauties that lie beyond the horizon. The unknown can be just as beautiful as the known.

This original piece was hand-painted on 100% cotton, watercolor paper with professional-grade archival paints. The delicate raw edges of the paper have been preserved and can be beautifully showcased in an open-mat frame. The artwork is shipped in a protective cellophane sleeve and packed between layers of sturdy chipboard in a cardboard box. 

Art is labeled in pencil on the back with the Title, Collection, Series Number, Date, and Signature.  I will be happy to sign the front upon request.

~Watercolor is the safest framed under glass or better yet under UV protective acrylic.

Turnaround

My turnaround changes seasonally depending on the length of the queue. It is usually around 5 weeks but up to 10-12 weeks after September. Feel free to contact me for the exact date I am currently booking.

House Portrait Options

~House Only Option: This option is of the house only with white space around the structure. This is a great option to showcase the house and minimal landscaping while removing unsightly surroundings.

~Full Scene Option: This option is a full-scene painting showcasing the structure and the surrounding scenery. This is an excellent option for properties with large trees.

Currently Not Accepting

~ Pet or people additions

~ Painting at a different angle than what is depicted in the photo

~ Photographs that cut off parts of the house or other key elements you want to be painted

~ Removal of trees/bushes that are covering critical elements of the house. If this may be the case with your photograph, feel free to email me the photograph prior to purchasing, and I can assess it for you.

Frame Size for Mats

5x7 is matted to fit an 8x10 frame
8x10 is matted to fit an 11x14 frame
11x14 is matted to fit a 16x20 frame
16x20 is matted to fit a 20x24 frame
